Velvet Cupcakes

Silky smooth red velvet cupcakes with a tangy cream cheese frosting.
Ingredients
- 150g flour
- 20g cocoa powder
- 150g sugar
- 60g butter
- 1 egg
- 120ml buttermilk
- Red food colouring
Frosting
- 300g icing sugar
- 50g butter
- 125g cream cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 170C.
- Mix dry ingredients. Whisk wet ingredients separately.
- Combine wet and dry, then spoon into cupcake cases.
- Bake for 20 mins.
- Beat frosting ingredients together and pipe onto cooled cupcakes.
