Cinnamon Donuts

Grandma's Secret Archive // File-CINN

Warm, sugary donuts coated in plenty of cinnamon. Best eaten fresh!

Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 7g yeast
  • 60g sugar
  • 250ml warm milk
  • 60g butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • Oil for frying

Coating

  • 100g sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix dough ingredients and knead for 10 mins. Let rise for 1 hr.
  2. Roll out and cut into donut shapes. Rise for another 30 mins.
  3. Heat oil to 180C. Fry donuts for 2 mins each side.
  4. Toss in cinnamon sugar immediately.
